About the Island

From charming bungalows to luxurious suites, from million-dollar villas to rustic cottages to own, Florida’s Anna Maria Island is the place where fast food restaurants are nowhere in site, the speed limit never exceeds 35 mph and flip-flops are a way of life. It truly is a place to get away from it all.

Bound on the west by the Gulf of Mexico, the 7-mile strip of land is home to three cities: Anna Maria to the north, Holmes Beach in the middle and Bradenton Beach to the south. The approximate population of all three cities combined is 8,800.

Yes, gorgeous turquoise waters and white sand beaches are its main attractions, but the Island has plenty to offer to suit anyone’s age and interests.
