Robinson Preserve

Robinson PreserveRobinson Preserve is a 487-acre coastal preserve located in northwestern Bradenton, just east of Anna Maria Island, in the Palma Sola area, across the street from the Palma Sola Botanical Gardens.

The preserve features numerous recreation activities that are low-impact to the environment.  There are miles of hiking and biking trails throughout the preserve, as well as a canoe/kayak launch. In addition, there is over three miles of  waterways throughout the park, as well as outlets to the Manatee River, Perico Bayou, and Palma Sola Bay.

Dogs are also allowed at the park, but they must stay on a leash (and please remember to pick up after them!). Fishing is also allowed, providing the rules of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission regulations are followed.

The Preserve has picnic benches at various sites and there is an observation tower. The visitor’s center, Valentine House, is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
