Love Anna Maria, second time on the island for vacation, first time in this unit. Great space, unit needs a little maintenance for some minor things but overall a lovely house and pool area. Two blocks to the beach…can’t be beat!

We had two weeks stay here in May 2016. The place is clean, well-organized and well equipped with nice furniture both inside and at the lovely terrace on the back. Pool is great with sunshine most of the day – if you don’t prefer to walk the few steps to the most beautiful beach in the world.

We have just had the most amazing holiday on Anna Maria Island, made all the better by this holiday house. It is in a great location, close to the beach, shops and trolley stops. We spent so much time in and around the pool, you could sit in the sun practically all day but there was also plenty of shade. The house had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, plenty of towels, crockery and cutlery. Having the use of the beach wagons to carry our stuff was a godsend with having two children, although one of the wagons was a little worse for wear so we only used it once as it looked like the wheels were about to fall off. Unfortunately the BBQ had not been cleaned before our arrival so we never used it and the only thing that would make the house better would be a downstairs toilet. One thing to note is that the pool has to be cleaned every day due to a tree dropping seed pods constantly. We would definitely recommend staying in this house and hope to return again in the future.

We couldn’t have picked a better rental for our family with 3 young children! The pool was awesome and it was a short 1 block walk to the beach. The home was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. There was a smart TV with a bunch of channels, but we really didn’t use it as we were outside the whole week. The setting was very private and quiet, except for the squealing of our grandchildren having a blast in the pool! The kitchen was fully equipped and the rental company was extremely responsive when there was a minor faucet leak. Couldn’t have been happier with our choice!

A great place! The only downside was that it was a 2nd floor living space and lugging luggage and groceries was a bit much – we are not as young as we used to be. Other than that it was an excellent place for the entire family – adult children. 2 1/2 blocks to great beach with easy access to local restaurants close to trolley. A very enjoyable place, large dining area for eating and entertaining and house was really stocked with games-books etc. Coastal Cottages were very nice and easy to work with – prompt refund etc. Good property managers go along way in a successful rental unit.

We loved this house and we love Anna Maria island. We have been before but first time in October and the weather was fantastic and so much quieter than Easter or Summer. The house is really only just a 5 minute walk from the beach and we found the beach trolley, chairs, umbrella etc very useful. It was also only a 10 minute walk to all the local shops and restaurants in Holmes Beach and some fabulous places to eat, although we also drove further afield too. The house itself is beautifully furnished, modern and clean with a very well equipped kitchen. There was everything we could have needed for a home away from home. The beds were very comfortable. The master bedroom has an extra large king. Lots of spare linen, beach towels and bath towels. Loved the outside roof deck for a cold beer in the evening or breakfast in the morning. The pool itself was lovely and we had booked a house with a pool because although we love the beach, it is always nice to have a swim. Our only criticism is that the pool and lanai area were in complete shade all day every day except for about half an hour in the morning. The trees that provide privacy also unfortunately block out the sun. Still a fabulous place though and we would highly recommend staying here.

The Hideout West was awesome! We took our kids, grandkids and parents. We couldn’t have picked a more perfect rental! I even realized after I was on my way home, I had left my medications and my jewelry behind . . . Tura and Sabrina were amazing as they took care of retrieving my belongings and sending them overnight to my home. We are already looking at dates for our next visit to the Hideout!

We just spent a week at the Hideout a West. It was fantastic!! From the time we arrived with our kids and grandkids and even our parents, everything was perfect!!! The open floor plan made it easy to enjoy our families time together, playing and having fun with the grand kids. The pool was awesome too! We will definitely make this an annual trip. See you next year at Hideout West!!

This house was stunning and in a great location. The house was well equipped and had the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. The pool area is gorgeous. The only downside is that there is construction work on the house next door. We had constant noise from 8am until 4pm daily. Whilst relaxing by the pool not only was it noisy, but the men working there were able to see us all the time. Felt rather embarrassed at times! We should have been advised at the time of booking so we could make a decision whether to change to a different property. So be aware there is still a lot of work to be done next door. It could spoil your relaxation like it did ours.

The best part of our day was the sunsets on the beach! We enjoyed the clean, maintained pool during the hot afternoons. We also rode the trolley from the AMI pier all the way down to Coquina Beach and back. The friendly docent at the Historical Society museum was great. We had a lovely time at the Zen Spa for a manicure and pedicure. We also saw some dolphins from the pier at Rotten Ralphs. The view from of the gulf from the lanai at the gulf drive café is amazing. Watching little crabs dive under the west sand in my hand was really cool. Our grandson, Gavin, asked, “Why do you call this a beach house? It is a FUN house!” We had a delightful vacation on a wonderful island.

I need express just how much we LOVED our vacation home. It was absolutely perfect, clean, beautifully decorated and in a great location. The pool was amazing. So thank You very much. We appreciate how smooth the reservation process was. You were very quick to respond to our questions and extremely helpful in accommodating us with our payment preference. We already talked about planning another vacation on Anna Maria Island and possibly staying in the same place. I have also recommended your services to our friends and family. What I loved about the Island itself was the fact that it is low key, not your typical commercialized tourist spot! Just thinking about it brings a smile to my face ;)

The weather was very good during our stay; there were a few cloudy days and evening storms, but lots of sun during the day. We did tons of things during our vacation: went to Bean Point, played baseball, went fishing, being lazy. The house was WONDERFUL, but please, can you sort the beach furniture was chairs are broken and only one shade. Also the bikes need attention. (Also the house could really do with a radio or IPOD dock to play music.) But it was one of the BEST equipped houses we have ever stayed in,

We loved eating at Oma’s and Kozy Kitchen and Eat Here. Mote Aquarium and Sandbar were also great! We went to the pool every day. We loved the ice cream parlors! We saw tons of fish in the sea, pelicans, flying fish, and lizards everywhere! The weather was really nice and very sunny everywhere! The pool was a ton of fun and the beach was really nice. I learned to snorkel under the sea and I collected lots of lovely shells and some amazing fish! Anna Maria Island is really nice as its very relaxing and laid back the house is lovely and a great place to spend our holiday. It is so close to the beach and the rooms are gorgeous. I would love to come again!

We had a good time at the home; it was perfect for all of us. The weather was great, in the 80s the entire time. We went to Selby Gardens, Mote Aquarium, Ringling Museum, the Beach, and had lots of good food. We loved the beautiful sunrises and gorgeous sunsets and had a great time in the pool!

We went to the Tampa Zoo and had a bunch of fun. We also went cruising around Sarasota Bay with a rental boat and saw some dolphins. We also went flying with a rental plane, shopped and relaxed, and played with the kids. The weather was hot and humid with thunderstorms in the beginning, but thereafter it was just great. It was a nice house with good service. Consider heating up the pool if you are here with small kids. We enjoyed it a lot!

We had such a relaxing holiday. The home was located in a nice central position. Shame that the mosquitoes prevented us sitting out in the evening. We would have loved another week. We had dinner at Mar Vista and went Crazy Golfing at Smuggler’s Cove. We also went on a Segway Tour, Penguin Encounter at Tampa Aquarium, and Busch Gardens. The weather was hot, overcast, and there was some thunder some days. But we did see dolphins!

The weather was hot with some spectacular storms. But we had a great time at Mote Aquarium and went on a boat ride with a Marine Biologist! We also went canoeing in Bimini Bay (Just 4 Fun). We saw dolphins at the Anna Maria Pier and Rod and Reel Pier. The sunsets were great so was dinner at the Sandbar and Cortez Village.

The house was wonderful; it had everything we wanted and more. My youngest daughter called it PARADISE! We did a lot of wonderful things such as kayaking, seeing sunsets, going to the beaches, and walking along the beach at 7 am. The weather was sunny every day. We saw ospreys, manatees, and dolphins too!

This house is amazing. Nigel is an amazing home owner and treats any issues with urgency. Everything in the home is practically brand-new. The home is very spacious and has a very cozy home feeling about it. The furniture inside and out is of great quality and very comfortable. The beds are super comfortable and with flat panel televisions in almost every room it just makes it feel more like home. Having a washer and dryer was great for washing towels and swimming suites. The house offers many windows allowing all the natural Florida sunlight in that makes you realize you’re really on vacation!! The two car parking garage was an added bonus so there were no worries about anyone messing with your car. Now for the best part, The pool!!!!! The pool is not really large but for the purpose of just laying around in the pool and of course late night swims it was absolutely perfect! For the time that we were there it was well worth heating the pool for the extra fee because you could control the temperature settings. The outdoor area in the back of the house has amazing landscape and two outdoor seating areas. The privacy fence is great even though the neighbors were super friendly to all of us even considering we are younger. The walk to the beach is like nothing takes maybe 5 minutes if that and you are right in the water. Recommendations: I would get a portable radio for use at the house. A wagon of some sort would be nice to load the cooler and stuff in for the walks to the beach. Have trash bags and laundry soap in the home.

My boyfriend and I, along with his sister and brother-in-law, spent a week on AMI in early January and I can’t rate this house highly enough. Check-in (and out) couldn’t have been simpler and our home for the week was spotless when we arrived . . . always a bonus when the reality outstrips the pictures. I also have to agree with the previous reviewer about the bed in the master suite, I swear I didn’t want to leave it behind! The pool area is absolutely lovely; it provides plenty of shade if needed and also blocks out a chill wind on slightly cooler days. The house provides everything you could really ask for . . . Position wise, the house is only a couple of minutes’ walk from the beach, and a glorious beach it is, too. We hired bikes from Beach Bums on Pine Ave. and spent a fair few evenings watching the sun go down at the Sand Bar. I’m hard-pushed to think of a better place to watch the sunset from. AMI provided what we wanted, which was sunshine and a great place to unwind; I’d wholeheartedly recommend it for a holiday where relaxation is the key ingredient, this isn’t the island to go if you’re looking for mass tourism and all that goes with it.

We had a great time, AMI is such a wonderful place, great beaches, excellent food and amazing sun sets. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the villa, spending many hours in the pool with the children. We can honestly say that the master bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The children absolutely loved the bar in the games room, My wife and I had poolside waiter service all day long. The property is in a wonderful location, we walked to watch the sun sets most evenings we were there. The beach was a couple of minutes’ walk away. The pool was private and caught the afternoon sun perfectly. Check in and check out was easy. Overall we were very happy with our stay.
