It was absolutely perfect for us. We were able to walk to the beach and enjoy the private pool in the afternoon. We also paddle board and it worked out great. We were able to lock up the boards as well as our bikes in the private backyard so no one knew they were even there. We did have to load the boards on the car but it was only a 5 minute dirve to go out on the bayside. It was so nice to have a full kitchen and laundry room. We plan on stay again next year.

We had a great time at this place. Everything is new, well maintained and it’s walking distance to the beach. We are a family of 5 (2 adults + 3 kids). My girls loved the swimming pool. Perfect size for them. They played there non-stop. Being so close to the beach was a plus, too. I just wished this house had 2 bathrooms, or at least a powder room, but besides that, it was perfect.

For those who have never been to AMI, oh that’s what we call it . . . Anna Maria Island. We have to say it’s perfect for young families. If you are from the UK and have been to Southwold and liked it there, well this is Southwold in the sun. It’s about a two hour run from Orlando, Tampa would be much quicker but the roads are pretty easy and house very easy to find. The house is a large bungalow split in two, tastefully decorated in a chic beach style. The house has everything you might need except for a hairdryer, however Coastal Cottages sent one right over. Plenty of towels and even stuff for the beach. a good laundry room, so don’t over pack, leave space for shopping and wash as you go. The island is laid back with plenty of beaches and nice places to eat, however it gets busy and if you leave the Island be prepared to queue to get back on if in busy periods. Can’t recommend the Island, the house and Coastal Cottages highly enough, especially Sabrina.

We enjoyed our stay on Holmes Beach at 203B 83rd St. Close to everything, pool is delightful and enough room in the house to spread out when needed. Can’t wait to return for a month in 2016.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this holiday cottage, beautiful and clean throughout, would recommend this. However it would be much better if pool had more privacy and an entrance straight from cottage, also would benefit from some glasses for drinks and some Pyrex dishes for cooking in the oven!

We would highly recommend Escape to Serenity. The cottage was absolutely perfect. It was very well maintained and updated, convenient to shops, restaurants, the trolley, and most importantly the beach. The beach is a very pleasant short walk from the house. The pool was perfectly located on the property. We have two small children and the safety precautions taken by the property owners helped ease our concerns of any pool accidents. We have been vacationing on Anna Maria Island and Holmes Beach for many years, and we will definitely plan to stay at this cottage again.

We’ve been to Anna Maria before so know our way around. This place is perfectly situated on the island only a block from the beach and a short walk to Pine where you’ll find lots of local shops/restaurants and the City Pier. The house has recently been refurbished and is in top condition, plus there’s a new pool too. It’s very close to Gulf Drive for the free trolley although you can hardly hear the traffic in the house. Highly recommended!

We were very happy with this colorful duplex! We had four adults and an infant and were quite comfortable. The property was very clean and well-maintained. Having our own pool was really a nice perk! Just a short walk to the beach. The trolley stop is also nearby. If you walk to the city pier, be sure to stop by Anna Maria Donuts. The donuts are made to order and you can choose your own frosting and toppings. Yum! We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to our friends as well. It was a wonderful home-away-from-home.

We really loved this colorful duplex! It was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. A nice perk was having our own pool! The trolley stop was nearby. Quick walk to the beach. Our only suggestion would be to have a fan in the bathroom. Other than that, absolutely no complaints. We would love to come back here again!
