We had a great stay and the house was great. Had problem with the pool, called and it was taken care of very fast. Great location! The back porch was nice to sit on, always a breeze. Trolley service was very nice. We would definitely use it again.

Our family stayed at your beautiful beach house for one week and truly loved it. Our three children had a blast cooling off in your pool after a long day at the beach. We rented bikes and rode all over the island despite the high temps of 90* and higher. Our favorite places to eat were the “Rod and Reel” and “Ginny n Jane E’s”. We also loved getting ice cream at “Two Scoops of Ice Cream” and candy at “Flip Flops and the Candy Store”. We found three sand dollars which were perfect on Passage Key at low tide. Rent a boat! We will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic house for our needs! We loved this house! The location was perfect and in our opinion, in the nicer all be it quieter end of AMI. Although there are only 2 bedrooms, the high ceilings and outdoor deck made this house feel huge. The pool was a fantastic asset and it was difficult to remove our 10 year old from it. The beautiful sandy beach was 280 steps away, yes we counted! We would definitely stay here again.

Once again we have enjoyed our stay here. Even though the first few days were rainy, the rest of the week was spectacular! This is our fourth time in Blue Palm. Hope to visit again.

What a wonderfully blessed place this is! It is totally beautiful, all good clean, and delightful. Location is perfect; love the pool, private yard, great screened deck! We can’t say enough good things. We loved our stay at AMI. Would love to return again in 2016!

Blue Palm was perfect for our girls weekend getaway! All of us were very comfortable all weekend, as this house is very spacious and accommodating. We were even able to enjoy the heated pool regardless of it being the first weekend in December. We all live in the area year round so we didn’t take advantage of the beach too much, so we just stayed at the house all weekend and cooked our own meals. It was very nice to have everything at our fingertips so we didn’t have to leave at all! We will definitely look into the Blue Palm for our next getaway!

We have stayed at Blue Palm many times. The pool is a good size and so inviting. Even though it is only a short walk from the beach the first thing we do when we get back is to go into the pool to cool off. The house is spacious and comfortable and in a very quiet area.

We had an amazing stay here at Blue Palm! Comparing it to Knoxville, Tennessee, where we live, here is paradise. We really recommend Two Scoops for ice cream. When you see where it says “single scoop” don’t be fooled because that means two scoops, not one! Also, Holy Cow ice cream is really good. If you want to see the most beautiful beach ever, go to Bean Point. A few good places to eat are: Gulf Drive Cafe, Lobstahs, Rod and Reel Pier, and lastly, The Banana Cabana. They are all really good.
This is our second trip to AMI and the Blue Palm was perfect for our young family of six. We loved having all the living and sleeping quarters on one level. It is so spacious. We still felt like we would spread out. We loved eating suppers on the back porch and sitting out there at night after we put the children to bed. Having a pool is a must for us. It was perfect to go to the beach in the mornings with a lunch packed to eat there and then head back to the house for the little ones to nap while our big girls got to swim.
We enjoyed some meals at the Sandbar, The Anna Maria City Pier, Rudy’s and The BeachHouse. We do not want to leave and have decided to stay for two weeks when we return next year!

No words to describe what a wonderful week we had on AMI. The house was PERFECT! The deck was our favorite area of the house, along with the pool, of course! The location was perfect. All in all, it was a perfect week. Already planning for 2014.

I have to say . . . after staying at condos for years, this was an awesome change for spring break. We had other families stay close by and I have to say . . . Blue Palm is roomy, beautiful, close to the beach and yet the private pool was a tranquil hotspot. We took our three teenage sons and they loved it. Fished, swam and did what teenage boys do . . . girl watch. All three boys said it was the most peaceful and fun vacation we had in a long time . . . They want to go back. I have to say we will miss going back to Blue Palm next year because of a family vacation but hope we can reboot again in the future!!

Blue Palm is the ideal site for a family vacation providing a welcoming atmosphere, ample room with great traffic flow, everything a family might need for the perfect vacation. Rental is well-managed with quick response to any concern.

It’s our second visit to the island this summer and once more it was a memorable one. It was great to see the upgrades that have taken place around the house since we were last here. My kids suggested a TC in their room as well. How about a hammock somewhere by the pool? We discovered a restaurant that we were so pleased with: Moore’s Stone Crab Restaurant, 800 Broadway, Longboat Key, PH#383-1748. The proportions were great, the flavors and variety were excellent and the outdoor seating-unmatched! It’s just a short drive down the road. And the kids get free shark teeth as part of their “toy” for their happy meal! Very happy to be back, see you next year.

We came for our 30th high school reunion class of 1982 T.A.S.D.K. Members. Four of us stayed here in this house. It truly included most of the comforts of home! We also were able to entertain 30+ people in the space for evening dinners on two nights. The only negative was the beach chair and umbrella conditions for lounging on the nearby beach. Fortunately the group rented a large umbrella and we were able to borrow chairs. I liked the quiet location and the close proximity to the beach! The four of us have never visited Anna Maria Island before but were extremely impressed. We ate at the Sandbar Restaurant the first night and otherwise had big group dinners. The Sandbar was very accommodating of large parties and had a great menu and my food was fabulous! Highly recommend that restaurant! The management company was very responsive when we had an issue with the AC first day!

This was our first trip to AMI and we were IMPRESSED! Loved everything about our stay here from the awesome house to the great local restaurants to the amazing beach/water activities. The house was very clean and well-stocked with all we needed. We rented beach chairs but beyond that we had it all! Sunsets were WOW and over the course of our stay two of us PETTED manatees while kayaking and we had 7 dolphins playing in the wake of our boat after snorkeling! They were absolutely beautiful and a great way to end our vacation! Thanks again for helping us be beach bums for a week and helping us find our own piece of paradise!

We had a wonderful visit to the island. I was here with my husband and toddler. Our daughter though the whole beach was her sandbox. We loved the pool and had a great time biking around the island. We took a day trip to Ft. DeSoto Beach and the North Beach there was perfect for a toddler, shallow water and gentle waves. Mote Marine Aquarium and the Sealife adventure cruise were excellent as well. We had so much fun and hope to come back again. Thanks for sharing your house with us.

Thank you for sharing your beach retreat. We loved AMI. It was our first visit here; I hope we can come again. Your house is lovely. We enjoyed the pool and porch a lot. We stayed here with Son’s family. Only thing I would suggest is a gate for top of garage stairs for little ones safety. Favorite place: 2 Scoops for ice cream, Loved the trolley. The Sandbar was a fun place for lunch.

Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful property for two months, we loved spending time on the screened porch, using the pool almost EVERY day, easy walk to the beach- and a spacious area for family get-togethers and lively games of Mexican Train!

This has been a great home base for our first trip to AMI. It is also our first vacation since having our son (now almost two). Your house accommodated us perfectly! It was great to have the kitchen to prepare meals, the pool to relax in while our son napped, and the screened-in porch to hang out on in the evenings. It is so quiet at night you can hear the surf 2 blocks away. We spent most of our week relaxing on the island and checking out the various beaches. We only ventured of the island once—to go to Mote Aquarium (just OK). As for the beaches, Manatee and Coquina Beaches were big hits because of the playgrounds. The beach was wonderful for convenience; we could just stroll down on the spur of the moment to catch the sunset. Bean Point was gorgeous—fewer people and breathe taking sunsets. Around the island—don’t miss the dolphins! Ginny & Jane E’s has a delicious and reasonably priced breakfast—plus their shop is fun to browse! We also loved The Feast Restaurant for dinner (not much atmosphere, but amazing food). Hope everyone else has as wonderful a time here as we did!

We so enjoyed your house! Loved seeing the sunrise on the Gulf each morning—the beach was awesome. The house was very comfortable and a great place to hang. WIFI was effortless. The house was very clean when we arrived—little bit of a hassle trying to find the lock box at 9pm at night with not lights. Enjoyed laying out by the pool. New rafts and chairs would be an asset.

This was a great vacation! We had absolutely perfect weather. With the exception of one day, it was low to mid 80s. We played at the beach and picked shells. The kids loved it! We saw dolphins, sting rays, a three ft. shark, jellyfish, and tons of birds. The pool was wonderful too, as we were not keen on swimming in the Gulf after seeing the shark. Our five-year-old son started swimming here! The lizards were a great hit and we even caught one, briefly. Our best dinners were at Eat Here, Sandbar, and Rod & Reel. For best ice cream try Tyler’s Trash Can at the General Store. Best Pie: the Key Lime Pie at Sign of the Mermaid. It’s a small place and stinks of garlic. BUT: the pie won awards and it is out of this world. The Blue Palm is a great place to stay, nice and clean with plenty of everything. If you have time, check out Mote Aquarium. And, since your there drive five minutes south to Lido. It’s a nice change of pace. It’s our first time, but we’ll be coming back! P.S. a fine way to start the morning was to get up and walk up the beach to Ginny’s & Jane E’s—great baked goods after a refreshing hike.

This combination of large screened porch, large pool, proximity to the beach, and reasonable price is tough to match. Would highly recommend. Our family with two small children loved our two week stay. Only regret is we didn’t rebook for the following year right away.

Our first time to the island and we are so excited! Some of the highlights of our trip included: St. Armand’s Circle in Sarasota—a lot of walking, shopping and eating, fun for the girls! But the guys were great. Le Barge Sunset Cruise in Sarasota—$25 per person, left at 5:30pm, great entertainment and the sights of the bay, Great. Great drinks, dancing and sunset! Sharkey’s—seafood and steaks—Great! In Bradenton, close to the house, food was marvelous! Mr. Bones—BBQ in Holmes Beach was great and fun. We loved the BBQ sandwiches. 2 Scoops Ice Cream in Anna Maria was fun and good, loved the staff and ice cream was great. Now for the house and beach. We loved the layout of the house, clean and was perfect location—half way to either end of the island. We had everything we needed to cook and make the stay great. We did the beach daily—got full bags of shells and sunsets were perfect. Weather was cold and wet the first two days but we are leaving with sun burn! Pool was warm and great to start or end out days. We have had so much fun and plan to come back.

We had a wonderful time and the house was perfect, we were able to spend time with the kids and catch up on all the years we were apart around the pool, grill and on the porch. This was a special time for all of us and the location and house made everything perfect. Our son and daughter-in-law told us that they haven’t had a vacation for five years so I was glad it was with us. We all even said that we want to make it a yearly thing . . . so maybe next year this time we will be back!

We really enjoyed staying at the Blue Palm! Wonderful location, excellent facilities, especially the pool which we had our morning swim in and the deck for sitting with a beer or two! Enjoyed take out from Mr. Bones and lunch and cocktail at Beachhouse. Went on a fishing trip with Compass Charters. Capt. Bill was most entertaining and caught some big fish! Look forward to returning again to Anna Maria and would definitely love to stay at Blue Palm!
