This was our 7th trip to Anna Maria Island staying in Bay to Beach. The condo is exactly that, walk out the back door, you’re at the bay, walk out the front door, to the beach! You could not ask for a more convenient location. Walking across the street to the pristine, clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico and fishing off the dock out back. It’s the best of both worlds! Not to mention the close proximity to everything. So close to all of the dining and nightlife on the island and the shopping and the waterfront destinations. We made good use of the free trolley system on the island which has a stop right out front of the condo. It stops every 2-4 blocks and is totally free! The condo has everything that you could need. It really does feel like a home away from home. Three spacious bedrooms and ample living space for the 4 (used to be 5) of us to live comfortably. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else on the island! There is a pool that is well maintained, as well as grills and a smoker out back for everyone to use. Don’t let yourself miss the sunsets! It’s as simple as looking up the time and walking across the street to the beach. You can also see dolphins as you sit on the beach! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

My sister and I wanted to get away, and I found this gem. We stayed for eight days and found that it wasn’t enough time. The condo was perfect. Yes, the construction of new piers directly across the road showed up in many of my sunset pictures, but this is forgivable. Not the owners fault and the construction itself did not in any way effect our vacation. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips, from beach towels to cooking. The only items I found that I needed was spices and paper products. We were able to walk to many restaurants, and with the free trolley just steps away, those that we couldn’t walk to we just hopped on and got off whenever our bellies grumbled or wanted a nice cool drink ;). With Tampa only an hour away, we took the time to go up to Bush Gardens and the Hard Rock Casino. Off Shore fishing is less than five minutes from the condo and I would highly recommend H2O Watersportz. Capt. Phil and first mate Andrew made sure we had a perfect day! To wrap this up, It was such a perfect vacation that before we left, we booked it for 2 weeks next year. Looking forward to Island time already.

It truly is “bay to beach” with fabulous views from both sides of the unit. However, I did not know there would be massive beach construction directly across from my bedroom/lanai. The inconvenience of walking a block down to access the beach across the street was not a big deal, as the beach is deep and quite beautiful. But, the noise of pile drivers and pay loaders beginning at 7:30 am six days a week was very annoying. Who knew?? Be sure to check with Bradenton Beach City Hall at 941-778-1006 about this before you book. The complex is very well maintained and the pool is lovely. The owners really have taken all needs into account and have provided all the creature comforts of a beach vacation. All six of us were quite comfortable and the layout of the unit is great. That said, the unit could use some updating in the bathrooms and a deep cleaning of the baseboards or a new paint job. Admittedly, I am picky. I would have given this property a 4, but the beach construction really diminished our experience.

What a great place, the ocean on one side and the inter-coastal on the other! Our family arrived after staying in a mediocre rental near Disney so we weren’t expecting much. What a surprise to see the spaciousness, cleanliness, and abundant supplies for our stay! The pool was beautiful and our granddaughter had a blast. I loved having such a beautiful view of the sunrise from the large back lanai and sunset from the front. We walked everywhere, to Leffis Key, the bridge to Longboat Key to see dolphins, Bridge Street and Bradenton Beach Pier with Happy Hour at AMOB, and especially the Gulf beach. Mmmmmm . . . We had a fantastic time and would love to visit again; one week just wasn’t enough. Our only complaint was the construction going on right across the street which we realize was an unforeseen problem and not something you can control.

Look out the front door, OCEAN, look out the back door, BAY . . . perfect location! This was our 7th stay at Coquina Moorings. We absolutely love the space. The location sells itself. There is nothing like being able to wake up and enjoy not one, but two amazing views. The condo is spacious and EASILY fit our family of four. We made use of all of the spaces including front and back porches. Great living area for movies and relaxing without feeling crowded. Plenty of dining space and storage for our ridiculous amount of stuff. The condo had all of the things that we needed! It was clean and well maintained. Plenty of towels and beach chairs. We were very comfortable. It seems that this has become our home away from home! The pool is was great as usual. Well maintained and very refreshing. Again, the location is great, short drive to anywhere on the island. Lots to do around Bridge Street including dining, shopping, excursions, music, and the pier. Also the Coquina Beach park is right down the street and they offer a fun Sunday market. The ocean was the most beautiful we have ever seen! We had a great trip and highly recommend staying at this property! Nothing but good things to say :)

This is the most beautiful place to stay on Anna Maria Island. You can see the Sun Set from one balcony and the sun rise from the other. The beach is across the street from the front of your condo with beautiful white sand. The bay is your view from the back of the condo. There is a dock to fish off of and also can you dock a boat you rent or own. There is a heated pool in the back with plenty of lounge chairs. The wall around the pool keeps you warm even when cold everywhere else. We had unusual cold weather for this time of year, however by the pool it felt 10 degrees warmer. You can walk or bike to see many of the views, gift shops and restaurants, There is also a complimentary bus that takes you around the island. It is a quick ride to Long Boat Key, where there are many shops and restaurants. The inside of the condo is beautifully decorated and clean. It has all the amenities of home. We look forward to our next stay.

My wife and I were somewhat apprehensive about our upcoming stay in this unit at Coquina Moorings, after reading a negative review posted just before we were due to arrive. But we had already booked the unit based on all the reviews we had previously read, so our 5 family members decided to go ahead and take our chances. We are SOOO glad we did! Everything in the unit was in perfect working condition and the place was very comfortable, tastefully decorated and immaculately cleaned. I don’t know if the negative reviewer had an ax to grind or if the owners attended to issues they may have been unaware of, but we couldn’t have been happier with both the unit and its the location.

Everything we needed for the week was provided, including stunning views of the sunrises and sunsets everyday. The beach right across from the unit is HUGE and you can walk long distances in either direction. We did not have any need for a car (probably wouldn’t rent one next time) because there are so many places we could walk to and when we couldn’t walk we took the free trolley, which stops right in front of Coquina Moorings. It was a pleasure to return to our place after a day of exploring and relax in all the comforts provided. We have wonderful memories of our stay in Unit 402 and will definitely be back!

This property has everything you need to have a wonderful and stress free vacation. The unit is beautiful in an excellent location just steps from the beach with a beautiful heated pool and docks on the bay in back. Water on both sides! The inside is just as the pictures show. Plenty of space to spread out with large lanais, a well equipped and functional kitchen, and TVs in each bedroom. In fact, I found the two guest room TVs have CD players, which was great for the kids. Plus free wifi. The owner has clearly taken the time to make sure everything needed would be there including beach chairs, and beach towels and a well equipped kitchen. And we found it clean and ready when we arrived. You can walk to Bridge Street where there are places to eat, and shops, and the pier. The beach across the street is just beautiful with wonderful sunsets visible from the front lanai and bedroom. And we found you can see a beautiful sunrise over the bay if you are up early. Right from the master bedroom and back lanai! I will be back, and will definitely tell all my friends and family.

Location really nice right across the street from Coquina Beach. We have a boat and the docks were easy to get in and out. The condo was nice and had all we needed to make our vacation fun and restful. The one issue we had was there was no trailer storage at the condo and we had to locate trailer storage for the week.

This is the place to stay on Anna Maria Island if you like the beach, sunsets, the bay, fishing, walking, biking, boating and beautiful views from sunrise to sunset. Perfectly situated on the Island to take advantage of all. You can walk to restaurants and nightlife, to a beautiful nature preserve, to watch dolphins as they make their way from the bay to the gulf, down the beach to the Beach House for dining or yoga on the beach or a little further for casual dining, drinks and sunsets at The Kokonut Hut. Watch the sun rise from the beautiful master bedroom and lanai on the bay side and watch the sun set from the lanai on the gulf side. The owners have provided everything you will need for a perfect stay. Just bring your clothes, buy some food if you would like to take advantage of the well equipped kitchen, and settle in for a fabulous week. While you don’t need to leave the immediate area for anything, we took advantage of the free shuttle to explore other areas of the island; it stops right in front of Coquina Moorings! The unit is perfect for families or for couples. We were very sad to leave and will definitely be back to this beautiful unit at Coquina Moorings.

This was a fabulous vacation! We’d been to the area several times before when my parents had lived in Bradenton for 15 years, so knew exactly where this condo was located. With this Coquina Moorings condo you get the best of both worlds – located just north of a nature park and with water views from 2 sides it was relaxing, quiet and beautiful – it is also located very close to the Bridge Street tourist area, and also one of the most popular beaches on the island, so lots of activity and fun is literally minutes away. The private, enclosed parking made life easier, as did the private, enclosed pool area. Everything, and I mean everything, was very clean, and well maintained, both inside the condo and out. I had a good idea of what the condo would look like from the pictures, but was blown away when we actually walked in. It was bigger, brighter, and prettier than I had been expecting! It was very obvious that the owner had put much thought in to what would enhance a renter’s vacation stay. Anything that we could think of that we might need was already provided; all we had to do was buy food and unpack our clothes! At the beginning of our stay the master bedroom door handle fell off, and we also had problems with the front door lock (though we were still able to lock the door with the 2 deadbolts). As soon as the holiday weekend was passed we called the leasing agents, and they had a handyman out the next day to fix both items. The quick response was much appreciated, and we did not need to stay in the condo for the repairs, the handyman had his own key, and left a note for us.

A few of the bests:

  • Key Lime Pie – Starfish in Cortez Fishing Village, just over the Cortez Bridge. They also had fantastic, that-day-fresh fish!
  • Dinner – Boat Tender Inn, at the east end of Bridge Street
  • Lunch – Village Cafe on the far north end of the island, also nice shopping in the area
  • Also try Divine Café located in the Health Food store in the CVS shopping plaza, really good lemon bars, teas and salads
  • We did the 2 hour cruise with You Only Live Once (YOLO), we saw birds, dolphins and manatees in the wild, then went to an out-of-the way sandbar, got out into knee high water and searched for sand dollars. The captain/guide was very friendly and informative. Great Experience!
  • We enjoyed the mini golf on Bridge Street, but the one in on Hwy 41 in Sarasota was much better!
  • We also enjoyed Joe’s Ice Cream

This vacation exceeded all expectations!

My family and I loved our stay in this spacious condo. The location is so nice with great water views everywhere you look. It’s just steps from the Bay and the Gulf. We really liked being able to see both from all the main rooms. The boat dock was a great plus too. My son spent hours fishing from it. The unit was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Everything we needed was provided and the kitchen is very well equipped too. We loved riding our bikes along the Gulf on the flat, paved and shady paths. I love how the water in the Gulf is so clear. Beautiful. We usually walked to restaurants for dinner. (Be sure to check out Oma’s Pizza.) We also had dinner one night outside…right on the beach at the Beach House Restaurant. Very nice! The kids loved the beach and the heated pool at the condo. They also went parasailing with the YOLO outfit. We hired Captain Kim for a sightseeing tour of the bay that was great too. She picked us up right at this Condo’s dock. We can’t wait to go back to this beach! When we do we will definitely seek out this condo again!
