With an average of 361 days of sunshine per year and an average temperature of 84 degrees Fahrenheit, Anna Maria Island is one of the most popular beach wedding destinations in Florida. In fact, with over 1,000 weddings taking place each year on the island, AMI is starting to be referred to as the “Beach Wedding Capital of Florida”.
The island offers a bevy of amenities to make your wedding day memorable, including seven miles of gorgeous white sand beaches. Looking for a place for your beach reception? You will find plenty of local restaurants offering the perfect space. Worried about your guests trying to navigate the island? No worries! They can use the free island trolley to get around. You’ll also find a local network of event planners, caterers, stylists, florists and photographers ready to make your wedding day a dream come true.
Over the last few years, weddings have become so popular that the AMI Chamber of Commerce hosts an annual Wedding Festival that includes more than 70 wedding professionals seeking out their next bride-to-be.
Unfortunately, Coastal Cottages AMI is unable to fulfill requests to house large wedding parties, so we recommend checking out the Chamber’s dedicated webpage that lists wedding and special event vendors to help fill all your needs.
