Getting Here

Anna Maria Island is located 40 miles south of Tampa and seven miles west of Bradenton within minutes from Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. The island is home to three cities—Anna Maria on the north end, Holmes Beach in the middle and Bradenton Beach on the south end. If you need to a rental car or limousine that services the area, check out our local transportation options.

As a reminder, summer is a busy time on AMI. If you plan to visit us at that time, we recommend arriving on the island before 11:00 a.m.  After 11:00 a.m. the traffic could be backed up five miles or more, and waiting in traffic is not the best way to start off your vacation!
